Radio Control Caterpillar move by itself?
My daughter has this caterpillar radio control with a switch on the track, and any switch on the controller. I guess we left the track "on" last night and I woke up several times to move the thing by itself. Nothing was touching the controller. Is this normal with the radio control toys? Because it scares the crap out of me. I am not one to jump to conclusions, so I'll assume that it is NOT something paranormal at this stage (no need to call a priest). But does anyone know if this kind of thing is common with radio controlled toys? Maybe pick up a radio signal similar to that controller puts out? Takari_60087, THANK YOU. I appreciate it! I'll give you 10 points as it allows me to choose an answer Top.
Yes it's normal Your toy is picking up interference from sources outside this happens if you live near any kind of broadcast tower or a military base by the law of your toy must accept any outside even if it causes unwanted or erratic operation to avoid this situation ensure it is turned off when not in use another option would be to change the frequency of the toy runs on but be dvised it can be much more expensive than the toy was purchased
