How do I trailer a horse?
I am getting a horse soon, but I don’t know what to do..I don’t know how to trailer a horse. Some of you are probably thinking…wow, you shouldn’t be getting a horse. But I just didn’t learn that yet and I want to now, so I am asking you. Here are my questions…
How do I lead a horse into the trailer?
Do I tie him up?
Should I put hay in his trailer?

to load a horse onto a trailer you very confidentally walk him up and into it. there are usually special ties that you can get for your trailer (yes you need to tie him), and you can put hay in your trailer as long as its in a haybag and that its virtually impossible for him to get caught in it (meaning its tight and higher than his shoulder). but don’t rely only on this to learn how to trailer a horse. do it with someone experienced and practice! you always have to be so careful with horses.
