Would you take a second to tell me that you like it / them? I plan to buy anything, but I prefer the lighter machines …. I have both the KA Stand Mixer Prcessor and Food and love all both. The stand mixer weighs a lot, but to make cookies or bread dough, it can not be beaten. My wife and sisters made by "lots" LOT over 8 varieties of Christmas cookies to give to neighbors and friends, and they would not have done without this mixer. We use it often in the evenings Whipping up a batch of cookies, so it's not just for marathon cooking sessions. I have a hand mixer, but it simply does no power to deal with biscuits and pasta, bread, and takes a lot of 'elbow grease' to use. I like the idea of simply turning on the mixer, add ingredients, and letting the mixer do the work. The food processor is great. I like how different cutting blades work. It has a mini-bowl and a few mini-blades, but I have never used. I do not see the issue. We have a dishwasher it is therefore more difficult to wash the bowl size and utensils, like the Mini. The grinding blade is great for the shredding of vegetables. It's great for cabbage and carrots for coleslaw, and also lettuce for tacos, but I also used all sorts of unusual vegetables such as beets or turnips, put in soups and stews. I have family members who are picky eaters, and I 'Sneak' these in the recipe, in a jagged shape, and they do not notice, but I always get the compass on how good it is. Another use for the food processor (and I use for this purpose as much as any other use) is to grind finely ground meat such as hamburger or sausage. I think a lot of meat is still on the ground too course for many uses. I first brown the meat, the disposal of grease, then grind them (using functionality "Pulse"), for a much finer texture. I think it makes a much better meat sauce for spaghetti or chili, and also so take a dip CHEEE calling for ground meat.
